The GT12080-HG EXTENDED POWER KIT for Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Optical Network Terminal (ONT)
Battery Back-up (BBU) is intended to provide the subscriber extended back-up
time in case of power outages.
The GT12080-HG EXTENDED POWER KIT includes two (2) GT12080-HG, 12V, 8Ah,
Goldtop batteries, one (1) YUASA Model YUA1202262 Multi-Use Smart Battery
Charger and operating instructions.
The YUA1202262 Multi-Use Smart Battery Charger will charge and maintain two
(2) GT12080-HG batteries. When plugged in, the charger provides a trickle
charge to keep the batteries fully charged and ready to use.
In the event of a prolonged power outage, the subscriber can replace the
depleted battery in the BBU with a fully charged battery. SImply swap the depleted battery out, place the new one in the BBU and once power is restored, charge the depleted battery so you're ready for the next extended power outage.
